Black Box Fire & Security and Derbyshire-based Electronic Security Installations have announced that they have joined forces to form The Black Box Group.

Both companies currently work with clients across commercial, public, retail and residential sectors delivering life safety, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and ancillary services across the UK. The new group will allow both to operate across a wider geographical area.

The two companies have delivered significant growth over recent years and will now work in partnership, while retaining their own brands, to deliver the highest quality services to an ever-expanding customer base.

The Black Box Group will employ over 70 people supporting existing and future clients and will continue to expand the team in the coming months to further support its organic and acquisition driven growth plans.

Managing Director of Black Box Fire & Security, David Barnes, will take on the role of Group Managing Director.
